Old Hat Theatre Company was founded in 2011 by a group of recent Yale graduates dedicated to producing classical works, especially Shakespeare. We believe that innovation and tradition ought to go hand in hand, that a production can bring together the forms and insights of classical works with modern interpretation and imagination, and that today’s intelligent audience is entitled to experience both.
